Who uses video editing software to edit photos?

Been playing around a lot lately in Magic Bullet Looks to edit photos and WOW, very impressed with the power and results! Anybody else use video editing software to edit some photos instead of Photoshop/Lightroom?

I edit photos in lightroom, but only when I am doing it for professionals. (aka If I am getting paid). For most of the photos I take, I don't have time to edit them properly so I just don't bother.

Haven't really considered it. I've only used Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop in the past. Also some portrait software . Premiere sometimes crashes if importing .png or .jpg files so i don't ever bother. But interesting that some other software programs can do it.

I had the same idea because the color editing tools in Davinci Resolve are really good. So I tried to edit Canon raw photos in DR, and was overall impressed with the look I could get. Unfortunately there was a huge lag between the changes I made and their updates in the viewer. So, in the end, it wasn't a practical way to work with photos. Maybe the program (and my computer) is just not optimized for the high megapixel photo-editing work. I don't know. I went back to using Affinity Photo.
