A7s ii + metabones?

I'm looking to purchase the new a7sii (moving from 5D mark iii) and I own a lot of canon L lenses.

I know that for the a7s it was recommended to use the metabones speedbooster with the camera in aps-c mode due to rolling shutter issues.

Is it still apply to the new a7s ii?
Because as far as I understand it's no longer possible to shoot in aps-c mode. So should I just purchase the regular metabones?

The A7RII is useable with a speed booster and a much more flexible camera all around. The A7SII doesn't do the crop mode and doesn't really seem to offer any compelling reasons to buy. (S-Log 3 isn't usable with 8 bit color).
