Any reason why the prices of the older Black Magic Camera's haven't dropped?

When the Ursa Mini was announced I was sure the Production camera would drop in price since the Ursa Mini did all the same stuff and more. I thought the same might happen with the BMPCC too when the Micro was announced, but then again the Micro doesn't have a screen.

The new cameras aren't shipping yet so I think you have to wait until stores are flooded with the new models.

I went to the BM event in NYC last week. I spoke extensively with the staff there and one of the questions I asked them was, "why haven't the prices dropped" and "will the BMPCC be sold for $500 again?"
The person I spoke to told me that the cameras sell pretty well at their retail prices and BM has a very slim profit margin. I think that BM has garnered the reputation of being a great camera at a good price, but when people see the amount of work in post and the amount of bells and whistles it takes, they get discouraged easily and sell their cameras online. So I imagine there is a steady flow of sales especially when compared to the Red and Arri cams.
Just my thoughts.
