Best Device to Backup Footage

What is the best way to backup footage? External drive, DropBox, or hardrive...

A RAID hard-drive box, which should be formatted as RAID 5 or higher. ( with RAID 5 one hard-drive can die and you won't loose any data )

Video files are usually too big for the online storage services.

Otherwise buy an affordable drive "dock" like the StarTech USB3 Drive Dock and use a Western Digital RED NAS drive to store your data. ( the WD RED NAS drives are more reliable than standard hard drives ) Once you've backed up your data, leave it offline and store the physical drive some where safe.

I use the dual version of the StarTech drive dock - that way I can duplicate one bare hard drive to another for archiving.

Drives should be stored in antistatic cases.
