I'm shooting a documentary on a historic site and need production insurance. But I'm completely clueless on who the good/legitimate providers are. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I had a similar situation with a university I was contracting for - they needed me to have insurance. I called a couple places (state farm/allstate/etc) and went with the one who could do a quick turnaround and was cheapest.
Fun fact, they since dropped me because they deemed video production to be too expensive to cover (around the time that rental houses were getting their inventories stolen), so not all companies will cover video production anymore, but if you call around you should be able to find someone locally.
