buying a camera online.

I've been looking around to find the best deal to get the mighty Panasonic Lumix GH4. Other than the best buy in town which has the camera priced at about $1500, I did a regular google search. 42nd Street Photo cameras sells the camera for about $1000. Is there a catch? I couldn't even see it on Amazon on that price. I'm a musician-wanna-be-a-film-maker. any respond is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

ResellerRatings.com give 42nd Street Photo a good rating. I normally buy from B&H Photo which is not the cheapest place around, but they have the best service I've ever had to deal with.

Is that for new or used and body only at that price I would guess?

body only. and I should've mentioned I wanted the version that has unlimited recording as well. Didn't know about the warranty until I read it here.

The cheap GH4s you see on the web are either used or international versions, so they don't have unlimited record times and the warranties will be suspect in the U.S. I did this song and dance over the course of a few months, earlier this year=) Eventually ended up buying a bundle from Amazon, through RItz Camera, that had 2 memory cards, 2 batteries, tripod, great camera bag/backpack and other misc lens cleaners, ect. The tripod is basic and the batteries are decent, but the memory cards are top notch. Just looked and they've got a similar one running now...
