Canon Printer for on CD printing

Hi! I'm looking for a good and affordable Canon printer that can print on CD. Can anyone help me choose?

For a small number of discs most of the Canon inkjet printers offer very good disc printing. For best quality you will want to try and find good quality matte-silver discs which look almost like silk-screen printing when finished.

There are several Canon inkjet printers that can print on DVDs, here is one...

Printing on CDs and DVDs is still a thing. I know a couple of photographers who placed their photos on a disc, and printing a personalized image on the disc is a pleasant touch for the customer.

I've only used Canon iP7200 series printers, and they're pretty good (*edit: there are also Canon Pixma versions that can print on disc, such as the MG53xx). I believe they are less expensive at the expense of picture quality (although I am not sure of the specifics off the top of my head). As a result, the discs must be compatible. I believe I used it exactly as written with a matte white finish (The Printer manual specifies what kind of discs to use iirc)

It's essentially an inkjet printer with a CD/DVD tray. Also read this cheap 3d printer guide before buying. A simple design tool is also included in the software kit.

However, I'm not sure how much interest there is for CD printing among the general public. Perhaps conduct a library survey before investing in a novelty inkjet that will be rarely used.
