Chances of Sony giving XAVC or SLOG3 to the FS700 through firmware update?

With a 4K sensor that can handle 240fps, you'd think the FS700 could easily handle the XAVC codec and/or SLOG3 if the A6000 got XAVC. What do you think are the chances of Sony releasing a firmware update for the FS700 users to bring these options to their cameras?

I hate to say it but I think the chances are pretty much zero. The FS700 is a camera that is on the way out, which is why the recent price drop to sell off current stock. Sony's focus is going to be on their new FS5 and FS7 cameras until the next generation shows up in a year or two.

Sadly, I think you're right. I wonder if a lot of FS700 users request it, would Sony at least give an official statement on it?

Same possibility as original A7s won't get internal 4k recording, even though I think they could just do like 15mins cut off time for overheating.
But isn't it funny how they solve the overheating problem with A7s II, just with firmware?
Something to think about...
But what do I know I'm just a photographer.
