Do you have good examples of lower third graphics?

Hey guys, I am a long time reader, and I have just joined the forums. I have been working on many mini-interviews / promo videos / industrial videos, and I feel like I have gotten stuck in a creatively dry place with my lower-third graphics and intro titles. I tend to use Premiere's Title maker, but I am looking for some inspiration.

How do you make yours pop? I would love to see some screen grabs or links of graphics that you think are excellent. Is there a flickr pool that has this type of thing?

Do you have any tips on how you integrate them with the visual style of the video? Whenever I google for lower-thirds, I usually just find really busy ESPN style newsbars.

Thanks!

Check out mega churches like Elevation, Hillsong, Church on the Move, Saddleback, even ours Canyon Ridge to see how folks cultivate lower thirds for their speakers. Mega Churches do this all the time, every week, since Church never quits - open every weekend, so there is a wealth of examples out there.

I have checked out both links provided. Good call with the mega churches,I will keep looking through those for graphics.

Anyone else have any personal examples of graphics you have made?

Consider checking out websites of makers of graphics software for examples & tutorials of how to make lower thirds. New Blue, BorisFX, After Effects & others.

Don't forget, animation can be a huge part of making your lower third look great. Don't rely on a boring fade-in! https://vimeo.com/32422220
