Exporting Audio in Adobe Premiere

So I have a video that includes audio from an interview. The audio comes in and out at different times. There is a good amount of white "noise" in the audio track so I have added the "DeNoiser" affect to help this.

After rendering the entire sequence, the audio sounds great; HOWEVER, after I export the video, the audio is still "noisy" and it seems as if the "DeNoiser" did not apply.

I've played around with multiple export settings and nothing has helped. Anybody know why this is happening? Any help is appreciated!!

(The audio was recorded externally from the camera and is in .WAV format)

(The video footage was shot at 1080p 23fps)
