Finding film equipment shops

I'm looking to buy some of my own equipment (camera, tripod, mic and eventually shoulder mount, lights, etc.). I'd like to go to a store that specializes in film equipment to explore what there is. How do I find one? I'm currently in the DC area if that helps.
