Lens Gear for Zeiss Otus

Hi there,

Recently, I upgraded some of my Zeiss lenses to two new Otus lenses, the 55mm and 85mm. On my old lenses, I use something similar to this: www.amazon.com/Lensgear-Small-Sized-Follow-Wide/dp/B005GK33H6

I am not a huge fan of them because you need to keep in mind of the zip-tie-part, and I suspect them to damage the rubber ring of the Otus lenses.

I was thinking about the official Zeiss Lens Gear: https://www.zeiss.nl/camera-lenses/cinematografie/products/lens-gears.html

Or maybe an alternative such as www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1260931-REG/cool_lux_951452_lux_gear_kit_...

Does anybody recommend one of these?

I will also check out Duclos, if they have a solution that can be added by myself.

Thanks,

Martijn

I have the full cinemod from Duclos on my ZF.2 lens kit. It's an incredible mod that's fully reversible. You can add as much of the components as you want though (minus the aperture declick) if you don't feel comfortable having them work on your lens.
