Lighting set up

Hello all,

Going to send in a short film for my rode reel this year again. And I would love to get advice on how to light a car with axtors. Basicly the outside of the car won't be so important.I really struggle to grasp lighting. But anyway I am on a tight budget so no money for extra stuff really.the gear I have is Panasonic pan cake lens .14 mm and a canon 50 mm with dump adaptor.the bmpcc and canon t2i. My lights is badicacly two yungneo 300 LEDs. Rode video mic. My biggest concern is the lights.how will you guys go about to light the scene.there will hardly be any long shot or really medium as to focus on the actors faces.

Forgot the mosst important part.the scene will be at night.

Well it really depends on the mood you're trying to convey. I would say the easiest way is to take your light panel and put it in the middle dash. This way it looks like the lights from the radio and such are illuminating their faces. You can also try getting some cheap USB LED lights and set those up in the visors. For power you would use a USB car nub in the DC power outlet. Those are probably the two cheapest ways I can come up with.

Yes you can mimic moon light. But if you observe, even in dark moon less night in the open area away from the civilisation, one can still see. You can somehow create that light. Entire scene will be very dark and flat though.
I would like to know, finally how you pull this out. I would also like to have a glimpse of how the final shot came about.

As mentioned above still learning about cinematograthy. But as the scene will almost be entirely ne in a car I don't think it is necessary to show outside the car really... So my challenge will only be to light the interior to the best of my abilities with the gear I have. What do you think
