Need External Storage Panasonic GH4

Hi! So i find that my SD card has just too little space for 4K recording on the Panasonic GH4 and so i would like to buy some external storage thats capable of connecting to the GH4 and also a PC and can handle high quality 4K recording on the GH4. i would like somewhere between 750 GB to 1.5 TB

If you want something portable then the $2,000 Atomos Shogun Monitor/recorder or the $2,300 Convergent Design Odyssey7Q+ are the least expensive way to capture large amounts of 4K footage from your Panasonic GH4.

BlackMagic Design make a $600 4K capture card for a PC or Mac desktop computer, but then you have to have a fairly powerful desktop computer that you have to carry with you when you film. ( this might be ok for a studio set-up, but would be a huge pain in the *ss for location work )

Otherwise you can simply buy 256 GB SDXC cards like the Transcend 256GB UHS-1 SDXC Memory Card (Speed Class 3) which costs about $200 and can hold 5 hours of 4K 100-Mbit footage per card.

As for computer, pretty much anything based on the latest generation of Intel i7 processor with a new $300 - $500 nVidia or AMD video video, and fast RAID storage should be enough to handle 4K playback. You are looking at about $1,500 and up for a Windows computer like this.
