Quadro vs. GeForce Laptops

So I'm working in Premiere and need a new PC laptop. I'll be working mostly with DSLRs and hope to make the jump to doing RAW workflow and eventually using 4k material (I'll likely get an external monitor at that point). I've been doing my research but what I can't figure out is which is better: Quadro or GeForce graphics chips.

I know there's a huge range but my question for you guys is what is the performance difference between two similar level chips from the two families? It seems like a lot of gaming laptops favor the GeForce and that Quadro laptops are fewer and further between.

I'm looking for something under $2,000 and around five pounds (or lighter). I appreciate your thoughts!

Only get the Quadro cards if you are looking into feature film production that will be displayed on theater screens. Until that point I recommend sticking with Geforce for your video work because you get better performance for less cost.
