hi,
blackmagic sell a hdmi to optical fibre converter which is what live broadcasters use for long distances and then reconvert the optical fibre cable ( which you also have to buy) back to hdmi for the monitor. Not sure if you convert the signal to sdi ( blackmagic again) will the distance be better but sdi cables are easier to get. Or you could try buying a more expensive hdmi cable

I haven't tried that camera specifically but different cameras seem to have different power outputs which will effect the usable HDMI cable length.

I've used two different Nikon DSLR's that won't push a signal beyond 4 meters. While my Sony DSLR works great with a 7 meter cable.

As Kieran said, try a higher quality cable, or possibly an Active HDMI cable. But you may have found the limit for that camera.
