Sound recordists to work on an Indy Thailand.

Hi! Since there's presently no way to narrow this down to say, Asia, maybe it's a good thing. Maybe someone out there would really like to fly here to paradise and work on an all Thai horror film for a low rate (Western standards), but average rate for Thai standards. Room and on-set food for free!

Here's the catch... must be experienced and have all you own equipment. Sound is everything on a film. Production tentatively starts in May 2015, shoots for three weeks.

So I never thought you'd expect this but I might be up for helping you out :)

I'm in Thailand from the 5th to the 15th of April 2015 so maybe it might work somehow?

Let's talk anyway - what's your contact info dude?

Hey Kraig! Thanks for responding. Sorry for the late reply. I thought I'd get an email from the site when someone responded, I don't know what you did on the trailer on your page, but it's beautiful. Really like everything about it. I didn't know they made trailers for theater. Who'd of thunk? I'd love to know what the stage sets looked like.

So, great that you're interested in helping out and that you'll be here in Thailand. My guess is your here for Songkran, the Thai New Year, but if you leave on the day of the 15th, you'll miss the biggest madness of all. However, for those who live here, the whole country pretty much shuts down for a month. Nothing is planned or carried out. People leave their jobs and go home to their villages for at least a week or two. Flights and hotels are booked solid in advance. Really it's a very difficult to get around during that week. This is why we aren't shooting in April. It's also hot as s**t!

Because of your carefully worded description of yourself on your page, you sound like the perfect fit with the rest of us crazies. We're making a micro-budget film, but it will have a very high production value, similar to your own trailer.

To yak about it more, please contact me at writer @ stuartland dot com.
