Starter LED lighting kit

I'm trying to find a few LED lights (these will be the first lights I ever purchase) and I'm having trouble finding/deciding on what I should buy. I already own stands and a number of light modifiers, and I now have about $1000 to spend on some lights. Due to their mobility/low heat output, I want to get some LEDs. Based on all of this, what should I get? Should I get three of the same light, or vary what my lights are? Is LED my best option at this price range?

NOTE: I need at LEAST two lights (preferably three), so I can't spend all of my money on a single light.

My current favorite low cost LED lights are the new CAME-TV Ultra Slim LED lights...

They are compact, all metal construction, have great color ( CRI 95+ ), can run for hours on standard Sony L batteries, and start at $288 US for a single light. You can buy either Daylight balance lights ( which are brighter because all LEDs will be on at the same time ) or the bi-color units which can be adjusted from 3200K~5800K.
