Two months in LA to make a short film
I am a French filmmaker and one of my dreams is to make a movie in LA. I already made one in NYC a few years back but I find California so inspiring I just can't stop thinking about it.
So my question is, how difficult would it be to find a skeleton crew and a few talents to work on a short, knowing that I would have only about a month of preproduction and that I know absolutely no one in that area. I would be able to pay everyone about $100 per day for a few days work but not much more. Post-production would take place in France when I come back, I am just talking about the shoot here.
What do you guys think?
