kindly explain in detail , the workflows , the names of gels , filters , lights etc? any additional stuff i need to know ?
An AC should know as much about the camera as possible to help in setting it up. Find out which camera you'll be using on the job and check out https://www.theblackandblue.com/pocket-guides/ for handy guide you can study before hand. Knowing how to set up tripods and camera accessories as well is a must. Depending on whether you are 1st or 2nd AC you will then need to be skilled in either pulling focus (which takes many years to master) or slating (a lot harder than it looks to get right). Other things to research is how to do a lens change properly and how to keep lenses clean. Gels and filters and lights are more in the realm of the grip and lighting department, so you generally wouldn't be expected to touch those, unless its a very small crew and you have to juggle roles.
