What is the best brand of XLR cables?

I'm looking for an XLR cable to use with Zoom H5 and Rode NTG4+

I read that the Neutrik and Canare Star Quad brands are the best option.

What do you think?

I've been using Canare Star Quad with Neutrik connectors for more than 10 years now. They are affordable, thin and flexible, and you can get them in a range of colors. ( B&H Photo sells quite a range of Carare Star Quad XLR cables with Neutrik connectors )

I like to use bright orange XLR cables because people are less likely to step on them in a semi-dark shooting environment.

Hey I never thought of that! Time for me to get rid of the black cables!

Sommercable are probably the best, but they are expensive, you should also focus on having a stage cable that is more flexible than regular one. On the otherhand for what you want a regular neutrik xlr is good enough.

If you're still looking, Monster cables are great!

You get a lifetime warranty with each cable. If they ever break, take them right back to where you bought them for a replacement. No receipt required.

I'm a big fan of the LyxPro Balanced XLR Cable. It's a solid cable.

Also, it seems like Recording Expert is also recommending the LyxPro: http://www.recordingexpert.net/best-xlr-cable/
