What Vendor to buy from

As a someone new to the world of DSLR (been using cheap camcorders), I'm looking to get a GH3. Reading through the guide that this website puts out, I was curious about what vendor I should purchase from, and whether I can return cameras there (it was brought up with regard to stuck pixels).

I notice B&H and Amazon essentially price match each other, but I have run into problems where Amazon, or whomever is selling through Amazon, isn't actually an Authorized Dealer and thus the Manufacturer won't work with the purchased product.

In short: Who should I be buying from? Amazon, Newegg? Or stick with a business who strictly sells cameras, BH?

OK, man! I'll look more into them. It was between them and Amazon.

B&H for the win. I've been buying from them for more than 20 years, and they are the best when it comes to service. They're not always the lowest price, but at least I know that if there is a problem B&H will make it right.

I appreciate your reply! I will be looking at both Amazon and BH, and most likely leaning towards BH because of their expertise and the reported customer service!

It's always worth considering eBay as well. I've gotten lenses from there at pretty significant discounts. I haven't pulled the trigger on a camera or anything, as there are obviously plenty of caveats that go with it, but it's a viable option nonetheless.
