Which DSLR is better for filmmaking?

I was wondering if the Nikon D5300 or the Canon EOS Rebel T5i were better for filmmaking, also i saw that the D5300 didn't have image stabilization, so i was wondering if that would make much of a difference.

Neither camera has built-in image stabilization, so you will have to buy a stabilized lens or use a camera body stabilizer to get smooth handheld shots. ( this could even be something as simple as using a monopod to stabilize your camera )

Between these two cameras, I would pick the Nikon D5300 first because it does not have the moire problem when shooting video that all Canon APS-C cameras have, and because it's a better still photo camera.

I mix a canon 5d mark II, now is cheaper with blackmagic.
