The first photo of the Sony FX3 (ILME-FX3has been leaked showing a pretty interesting design if it is indeed a FX camera. There isn't much info available, but the camera has been registered with the FCC, confirming a camera with that name exists.

If it is indeed real, it reminds us of a larger Sigma fp or throwback Blackmagic Pocket and is aesthetically similar to the Sony a6600. The back features what looks like a flip screen, several dedicated buttons for power, record, and a mode button along with multiple dials, and function buttons that are most likely customizable. On the top, are three 1/4-20" threads to mount accessories and most likely a MI shoe that will allow you to connect Sony's XLR-K3M Dual-Channel XLR Adapter Kit and other accessories.

According to Sony Alpha Rumors, the camera may be similar to the a7s III with active cooling, S-Cinetone and 4K All-I 10-bit 4:2:2. They also suggest it will take CFexpress Type A cards and will top out at 4K 120p with no 8K. Cost is around $4,600 with a February 23rd  pre-order date.

As with any rumors, nothing is confirmed. However, a lot of the specs make sense. And with Sony announcing the Alpha 1 out of nowhere, they could be trying to keep new products as close to their chest as possible.
