Atomos Connect makes live streaming to platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Zoom, and OBS easy. Connect works with any HDMI device and can accept a video feed up to 4K 30p and converts it to 1080 60p over USB. Better yet, it's compatible with the full range of Atomos recorders.

Atomos might be a little late to the party with Connect as several alternatives have cropped up since many of us have started working from home. But nevertheless, you can at least trust the build quality when it comes from Atomos. Connect is a plug-n-play device and can transform any HDMI-equipped camera into a dedicated webcam.

When pairing Connect with the Shogun 7, you can monitor and record up to four 1080 60p streams simultaneously and switch in real-time using the Shogun 7 simply with a laptop. It's also worth noting that the Shogun 7 accepts asynchronous feeds allowing you to use just about any camera for multi-camera production. This is similar to what you would find with Blackmagic's ATEM Mini Pro switcher where video sources do not need to be locked.

Connect is compatible with Mac or PC and features a slim 0.5-inch profile.

The cost is $79, which puts it about $50 cheaper than the Elgato Cam Link 4, though the Cam Link does provide an option to broadcast in 4K. It's available now.
