Well, I am not good at short autobiographies. I am not good at autobiographies, so bare with me.
I am a college student, who recently rediscovered her love for cinema. It was always there, that feeling of wonder and... a feeling close to passion. I am very interested on photography, cinematography and writing (I wouldn't shy away from any job in a film), but until now I was kind of afraid of exploring all this. So, here I am, to learn and try to be part of this world (so original).
I read about this in a Cortazar's book, Hopscotch; it's an outstanding book. One of the characters talks about the challenge and response, as the primary way to move a story and show personality. Now I understand why Stranger Things draws you in with characters that we have already seen.
And really move the story forward.
It looks beautiful, and interesting.
Is there a back door?
Maybe it's a matter of criteria. You can make corporate things, being aware it's corporate, and use that for anything else you want to do.
Maybe it's not a matter of superhero movie but blockbuster in general, this lack of intimacy, of touch.
