I would love to see a HDMI version (in and out)
Im waiting for mine to be delivered
1: Writing, I have ideas but they are quite broad and have no fill to them, I know where it will start > go > end but cannot do the middle bits and fill it with enough dialogue etc, ALSO working full time in my dead end job kills my motivation and by the time I get home or on weekends I am brain-dead and have no drive to do anything as it is just me and I have no one else to talk to or join up with.
2: MONEY for kit or crew/actors no one around my area (which is very small) wants to just make films everyone wants to just quote silly numbers and its all about money, not the love for making something pretty.
3: Back to 2, we have talent etc but no one will get involved if there is no money changing hands, I'm based in Northamptonshire, England, UK which is the heart of the country and have access to major trains, roads etc but unless your making a film in a major city like London our like a ghost and no one wants to know about you.
4: Simple guides or tuts on how to do the basic things like Lighting, camera movement, setting up shots, basic scene breakdown and why they chose that option. Tech changes and everyone seems to always focus on what kit to use next I want to see how to use kit to my advantage no matter what camera, lights, lenses I have access to, I might only be shooting on a Canon 550d with a stock lenses and don't have 13 stops of dynamic range blah blah blah, but I might have access to a lighting kit for my film, being able to benefit from that would be more to me than someone saying well if you use a better camera you can get a better image with those lights. Yes I know that but a budget can only go so far.
Also on a side note, I know the site is a US based and mainly film making is US based but a HUGE amount is filmed in the UK why cant we have some more posts about UK news (or other countries) if that makes sense
Rant over (sorry)
Now is there an option for FCPX or Logic X to do this as it would save me loads of time in post for weddings when I need to loop a section or even in my travel blogs and I dont want to use Adobe products as its way to pricey for my blood
