Article Comment – The Specific Methods Every Director Should Understand When Working with Actors

This is essential. I'm tired of watching directors direct with no clue as to what the actor needs to do their job. The actors should be the number 1 thing on the mind of the director. Your crew knows about shots and set dressing and what have you, you should know about directing actors. Please NoFilmSchool, more articles about this. It's a subject that doesn't get enough attention at all.

Article Comment – Watch: How 'Get Out' Gives Us a New Perspective on Horror

Article Comment – 'The Shape of Water' wins 4 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director

I expected Get Out to win best film for it's influence on our culture and subvertion of genre tropes. Though Shape of Water was a good film non the less. Anyhow, You Were Never Really Here wasn't nominated for a single thing, proofing that you can't really take the oscars seriously anymore.

Article Comment – Get Better Color with Blind Spot's Scorpion V2 Focused LED

Well kickstarter is used a lot to see if there's interest in a product and to market it before you go into full swing production. So it's probably not about getting the funds to make the product, but about getting the attention to sell the product. It also adds a lot of security for a company to know in advance that a product will sell.
