Alice finished Applied Geography and Marketing at Ryerson University. For a while she went into teaching however her passion was in creative arts. After a brief time away from school Alice went back and Finished her Photography Degree. Ever since then she is the owner and head photographer of studioEPIC.
Great article, however the 2nd video no longer works (it just says it's not been made available in my country - we are in Canada - maybe it never worked in Canada?) . Maybe you can add it link to the youtube url so we can look it up directly there.

What a great tutorial.. I wish there more in-depth articles like this, especially given just how many components there are today and the fact that a lot of them don't work well together. We also built something similar but had lots of issues getting the right performance. In our office (https://www.studioepic.com/Toronto-Product-Photographer.php) we use both video and photo editing rigs and it's curious how much more powerful of a PC you need to run a good video editing suite. Hi! If I may add something.. Camera equipment is one thing, but there is nothing that moisture does not destroy faster then strobes (or flashes). We've destroyed at least two strobes due to condensation on the circuit boards. The super high voltages in strobe circuitry and moisture do not mix.. Ever!!
