Anne L. Allen is making her directorial debut, under her newly formed company, Virginia Grace Productions, with a focus on underreported issues of marginalized female members of society. Anne launched her television career in 2005 as an Assistant Editor. She is currently a freelance Documentary and Commercial Editor. She gained most of her considerable experience working with HBO Documentary Films. Anne has worked on Emmy-nominated films The Alzheimer’s Project, The Weight of the Nation, Alexandra Pelosi’s Homeless: The Motel Kids of Orange County, CITIZEN U.S.A and Academy Award Winning Documentary Short, Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1. Other notable clients include, The Michael J Fox Foundation, David Blaine Productions, MSNBC, Vocativ, PBS, A&E, & Discovery. Anne also crosses over into advertising, editing numerous successful Budweiser pitch campaigns, in addition to Converse, Captain Morgan, and Naked Turtle. Anne's field work has taken her to the Alaskan wilderness where she lived in the bush for nearly two months. She resides in Brooklyn, NY.
