I making Film since 2006. I am a one man band artist, i do everything from writing the scripts, make up, filming and VFX. I love Filmmaking, In front or behind the Camera.
Cant wait to the Movie. :)
Well i think you should try as much as natural light you can get. Also light your scenes up well good if not you end up with grain.
For the Zoom. I have a Zoom H1. I know its picks up the sound really intense. So maybe yes with the right settings attach it on a pole and you are good.
But maybe for really long distance use a lavelier mic or a shotgun with the zoom, when you can hide it in the near of your actor. :) I hope i could help.
Yeah do your own thing. :)
Wow. Thats sounds really like nobody was talking with no one. The crew members should know before the say yes to work on that film, how the conditions are. Canada in Winter its crazy.
Well i would be honored to work on a film like this. Ok if it goes to far and it gets dangerous. Maybe quit andtake the experience with you.
Its true that you not always need the newest Gear. But i think the basic Gear to make a Film sometimes makes out how the Film turns out. "There are always obstacles — some technical, some monetary, and some psychological — that get in the way." Oh yes i struggled a lot with having not that gear i need to make the Film i want too. But on the end it turns out ok, but in the hope the next Film will be better.
I think that makes us a bit better. Learn from mistakes and throwbacks and make the next Films better. :)
Wow both looking really nice. But it seams the footage its really orange ish. Also a bit too much washed out. Or its just my personal view.
