Depends on the type of cable. Although I'd consider over/under "normal". Over/Under prevents twisting of the inner part of your cable. And because you prevent the twisting, your cables should last much longer. Additionally over under if done correctly prevents having a big knot and allows you to run your cable faster.

I said it depends because occasionally you deal with a cable that does not wrap nicely no matter how you wrap it. If you can over/under it, do it. On the rare occurrence you find a cable that will not wrap using this method- probably wrapped incorrectly a number of times it will clearly want to wrap another way.

Hadn't thought much about a line cam.

Most of the weddings I've shot the ceremony is under 30 minutes. So the 30 minute cut off is not a problem.

Your absolutely correct. I'm in the under $1000 range right now. A 24mm focal length would be most ideal but I've dealt with wide angle adapters on other cameras before.

First I applaud you on working in a puppet as well as the random trippy cuts with the radio sounds. That stuff is way cool.

I'd work on your lighting. I can tell you are using hard light, but everything could be a bit brighter/harsher. Use your blinds to create some texture. The other thing is to work on your audio especially with the puppet. Sometimes it was great and sometimes I didn't feel like the puppet was talking. Putting a mic actually on your puppeteer would do wonders. Otherwise this was pretty awesome. You've got some really great stuff going on! Hope to see more!
