I have never seen a Canon camera beat out a Sony A series. In fact, I sold my RED to get a Sony camera because of how amazing it was but like said above, if you're strapping a vintage lens on it, of course, you will not get the image you want. Not only that but the Sony really shines in post production. It's not until you unleash it's abilities with color grading that you see the difference. Canon images will fall apart almost immediately, especially with the sharpness boosted on the picture profile.
Nobody will ever seen UHD? You are long mistaken my friend. 4k Monitors just priced dropped to under 300.
