There are actually some really good options here that I didn't see before so disregard. Might go for the Panasonic GH3. Still curious about what may or may not happen to the A-Mounts though. A58 has some solid features too it but the auto focus is a bit slow and does rather poor in low light even with a lens with a decent f-stop.

Thanks Guy. I guess I'm curious why filmmakers/DP's would even choose to do so if the opportunity presented itself being because of the post production flow difference you spoke of. Just personal preference? The concept is really interesting to me.
