I'd like it if you could explain what actually happened before you talk about it. A short explanation about each of your discussions will help understand what you're actually talking about.
I found myself lost while listening to things I had no previous information about.
Looking forward to see this grow.
Seems to be the majority of comment on everything these days. This was a great video, featuring a few innerspring highlights and was very telling of each of the director's current state of mind. Interesting seeing Scott, very sure of himself, very straight forward, hinting as though he has nothing left to learn - it really shows why his recent films are rather soulless. The adventure of creation seems lost to him.
The idea of this technology sound fantastic, I doubt it will actually show any proper results in the near future. This looks like one of those things that will take a long time to develop and perfect.
Other than that, I wish people would stop making these kind of " template corporate videos". There was a lot of talking going on and nothing was actually said.
I'm considering making the jump from Premiere Pro to Resolve. CC 2015 has been embarrassing and Adobe aren't addressing the many issues their new updated software is plagued with.
For people using Resolve, how simple is it to move a project from Resolve to After Effects and back or to Nuke and back?
Looking good. A few questions:
1. If I shoot something and I want to extract the camera movement and tracking points from the shot. Am I supposed to strap the Kinect to the camera itself or does it sync in some way with the camera?
2. I currently use Boujou + Maya for matchmoving and 3d blending. Will I be able to use the tracking data from NextStage Pro and just skip the Boujou stage?
3. Is there a feature that understands optical compensation?
Thanks
"As for Premiere integration, we'll have much more for you when it officially launches next month"
Can you also post the internet speeds and file sizes for your projects, while testing this? Personally, I've had mostly negative experiences with everything-cloud based. It seems to waste more time on troubleshooting than actually working. I wonder if having a very fast internet connection changes the way this might work.
The idea of collaborating and having mass storage online is the right idea, I've just never seen it work nearly as well as it presents itself.
