Because, for some people, especially students they have no money.
Working as a teacher, with students who want to shoot films and come from hard to do backgrounds - This is great for them.
You're not an idiot for trying new things out. Don't be so god damned myopic.
Some great ideas here!
I was shooting for a short a few years ago and they couldn't find any lights to hire (we were shooting outisde a church at night) we taped the crews phones together (not reccomended), put the torch light on and used a bounce to softly light the actress as she walked down a path, worked like a treat!
It's a shame smart phones aren't used more in productions as they CAN (not always) be super useful with lighting!
No. I'm a customer of the cinema as much as you. It's a public forum: ergo we are all entitled to an opinion.
I think it's a terrible use of screen time. We're just re-watching the same shit over and over again.
Its a worthy discussion to have - why aren't we demanding more from cinema? Why are we happy with this mediocre shit?
I think we need to move from these superhero films dominating the cinemas and audience.
I think as an audience we need to demand better cinema, something challenging that deals with real issues.
I don't mean to sound like a modern hipster who doesn't like superhero films, but I think it's time we put these things to bed.
Superheros will win in the end, maybe there will be a few casualties, but please, give us something more challenging, stop purposely dumbing us down with these mediocre stories and give us something worth watching.
The other thing that is utter nonsense is your spelling of psychology.
There is plenty of science to back up an emotional response to colour. You just haven't looked, at all.
No. Dum dum.
