Article Comment – Atomos Shogun Flame & Ninja Flame Are the First 7" HDR 4K Recording Monitors

I do understand if Atomos is trying to get in there early and make their standard THE standard (sort of like how they've done with their HDMI trigger stuff) but I'm with you—rec2020 is already a thing. Let's embrace it before stuff gets messy.

I have a feeling that if they don't now, they will eventually in an update to the recorder.

for what it's worth—the company that makes Neat Video does offer cross-grade pricing, so you don't have to spend the full amount to move a license from one system to another.

Hey Ramzi.

1 You need SDXC cards. SDHC cards will not work.

2 I'm not sure I understand your second question, but you cannot record 2160 in 60p, it's capped at 30p.

3 Ideally, it would be around 1/400, but with the FS5 I haven't figured out how to dial in shutter speed in the slow motion mode.

Nathan - totally agree. Or waveform! I don't get why they save stuff like that for more expensive cameras.
