I make films & vlogs on an iPhone 6 plus
I'm an iPhone fan and started shooting video on the 5 or 5s, can't remember. I just recently got the 7+ and I love the dual cameras. You can get a wide & a close up without having to move & some slight bokeh. I'm not sure about androids but I know the apps available for iPhone are plentiful & many are very, very, good.
Wait. I must have missed the place where you contribute to the filmmaking community, youtube channel or something. "I have not seen anyone dislike him personally, but it is said he is hated." I do not understand the point of trying to tear others down. Does it make people like you feel better? I honestly don't get it.
I was actually just dabbling with IG's new stories feature. And I love how easy it is to use & the fact that you can re-watch stories. The fact that snapchat's stories disappear is very frustrating. Also IG's platform is easier to navigate & a bit more classy in my opinion. There are a lot of professionals already on that platform which makes it easier to network.
I have dabbled with snapchat & it can be a little tricky to navigate. However there is a huge audience on that platform. You will need a 3rd party app to upload any content that you pre-publish as snapchat itself only let's you access the camera and not your photos or videos.
It does seem like a really good platform to publish daily content for people to follow along as you cut your film & build up anticipation for the release.
hope that helps
I'm not sure of any books, but a quick google or youtube search on shooting events will give you a wealth of info to comb through. One really good website is Wedding Film School, http://www.wedfilmschool.com/
Hope that helps!
Bring it into after effects or some other compositing software, trim off the blades & turn it into a space craft!
