I am a director from Central Pennsylvania. I've work on numerous projects as an actor, written short narratives, and produced my own work, but my passion is directing.
Haha. Way to go, me! Thanks calling me out, Samuel!
Hey Kraig! Thanks so much for your offer, man! I sent you the link. By the way your work is very impressive.
I think building an audience will be a little easier because of the fact that the film will be based off a novel that already has a fan base.
It's certainly advisable to do whatever is within your power to increase interest for your project, but I would use facebook to manage your communication with that audience as opposed to a mailing list. I recently worked on a project that used social media gain an audience, and then used that as leverage to raise money on kickstarter and through private investors. https://www.facebook.com/therangerswebseries
Great looking trailer! Looks like 8 years well spent, in my opinion.
Do you have a crew or are you working on your own? I'm a fan of keeping things simple when I'm working on my own, or with a small crew. If that's the case, I'd still rock some light weight LED's even though everything Ryan said is true.
I've never heard of Cineo. Have you used them personally? Can you elaborate on your opinion of them? Thanks!
