David Sharp is an experienced Video Editor and Shooter in Nashville,Tennessee specializing in editing, cinematography, and set lighting.
He has a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in film and Television
His experience is extensive in his field beginning his career with the Army MultiMedia Visual Information Directorate. He spent 6 years photographing and editing events such as award Ceremonies, and special events including: Secretary Robert Gates' Retirement Ceremony, State Dinner for the President of South Korea, Notable events are, Senior Photographer for the National "Spirit of America Concert Tour" and Medal of Honor pinning ceremonies. His most notable assignment was documenting both Presidential inauguration ceremonies as one the Inaugural Committee's Photographers.
In 2011, David began developing and editing for DC Metro Church as a Senior Video Editor for the weekly DCMetroChurch.tv television program. It was there he developed training programs for DC Metro's volunteer Camera Operators and Video Switcher Teams, redeveloped their stage lighting, and implemented RED cameras. His training also later extended to staff members in the area of video editing, camera techniques, workflow management, and creative storytelling.
