At any rate, although not a huge fan of his films, Rodriguez has always been refreshing in his attitude about sharing his techniques and "tricks." His infectious encouragement to others to "just do it!" is also inspiring.
So many creatives are overly protective of their work and craft thinking it's a zero sum game.
I learned this early on in my career working at a production house. I was blown away at the incredible sets that could be created in the studio.
This post reminded me of one NFS from a few years back. This Frenchman can make magic in his small space.
