Grew up filming skateboarding with my friends saw that I could turn this trait into a profession. I headed out to film school to learn the in and out of the film industry and graduate with a BA in film and video production.
Great article Joe! Very informative and enjoyed reading your thoughts about "what the raven isn't" and "what happens to scarlet." It will be very interesting to see where red will go. I personally would like to see red come out with a camera that is priced at 5k with everything in the box ready to shoot. And have at least 4k @ 120fps and 2.7k or 1080 @ 240fps for high frame rates. But hey one can dream.
That iPad mini 4 would be prefect for the phantom 3 and DJI GO app.
From what I know they said that they will be bring the intelligent flight to the rest of the Phantom series, but I'm not sure if that also will include the Inspire. Im sure it will since the intelligent controls are based through the app and firmware.
Yes! they are going to release a firmware update for the advance and the pro as well on a later date.
DJI is following what camera companies do for their products. That give and take effect. If you want these features you need to give up certain ones. If you want all features you need to pay high price for it.
This does open the opportunity for more people to get into aerial with this lower price point, which I think can be a bad thing...
Having good distance separation from your green screen and subject is one of my secrets.
