I use Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop to teach visual effects for films on YouTube.
YouTube name Film Masters
In the Blink of an Eye by Walter Murch: This book is without a doubt witty and a dam good read... I put 'In the Blink on an Eye' as my top #1 for any editor or someone who wants to learn editing. Own it.
But it looks soooo pretty!
The GH4 is an awesome camera especially when you buy it with the stock lens. I use it as my A camera. I film stuff for my youtube channel mainly but have used it for business videos and short films... Flexible camera. Only the Sony A7s will beat it hands down in low light... But HG4 beats it on price, image quality and I love the V-log. Go down to a store and ask for a demo. However if you want a video camera... Then maybe check out the Panasonic UHD cameras.
