Boards Comment – InstaMic : The "GoPro" of Microphones ?

This looks cool and promising. What I would like to see more of is people using it for proper interviews (that's where I would need it). If a lot of people would start using it, then maybe I would consider buying the mic. Not a big fan of just jumping on something new and promising at indieGoGo. I also feel like the way you attach it to people could be an issue. I kind of miss just a clip or something that would make it easy to hide on the inside of a jacket. But, it's still in the developing stage, so we'll see.

Boards Comment – How to shoot 3 people

As people have mentioned, it depends on the story. Is one of the three the leader? Maybe highlight him alone and the other two together? Are they fighting? Are they planning?

Watch films where you have three people talking and get inspired from that. First thing I could think of was Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli together, as seen in this scene from LOTR, The Fellowship of the Ring: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GA5AtPl5EY

There's no right way, as long as it tells the story you want to tell.

Boards Comment – Procrastination & Filmmaking

I procrastinate, but more in the sense of taking the spare time I have and use it on other stuff than sitting down and write on my script. It's hard to actually prioritise time for it when you've got a lot of things going on. Or maybe it isn't that hard, it's just that I'm not willing to take the time needed to make things happen...?
