Everything is context. I don't know the precise context anymore than anyone else who was not there, but this idea that no one should EVER be shouted at is a 21st century woke notion that has steadily gained ground with the ever advancing and suffocating progressive liberal PC crowd of busy-bodies.
I am quite sure if it were your own millions at stake and the whole shebang rested squarely upon your own shoulders, you too might get a bit fraught if some lowly techs disregarded what would most certainly have been VERY clear guidelines for on set protocols.
Sounds to me like they were lucky not to have been summarily dismissed. If they had been, they might have found it difficult to continue working in the industry. So, credit to Mr. Cruise for holding back.
Tom Cruise should be applauded, not condemned for saying what had to be said, because the disease has been perpetuated globally by either ignorant or cocky A-Holes that refuse to take the deadly virus seriously.
Only got to 00:38 before I got fed up with the presenter.
I can now understand how and why someone can become a recluse. Who wants to be part of such a pathetic society of bleeding heart busy-bodies, so tortured with assumed guilt over things that happened before they were born.
Tiresome nannies.
In the interests of accuracy, DJI actually WAS the first to produce a stabilised gimbal with brushless motors - the Zenmuse Z15 GH2 and Z15 Nex-5n. They were designed specifically to be flown with the S800 hexacopter drone.
Freefly followed later with the MoVI, the first gimbal for 'big cameras'.
In my view, those early camera mounts were the best thing DJI produced for quite a few years. Their drones were rubbish, with LOTS of poor components and catastrophic firmware releases.
It beats me why anyone still humours Apple by continually updating the OS and buying their latest silly phone. I used to be a huge fan, but lately I detest their snotty superior attitude and their minimalist obsessions that have denuded their laptops of virtually all connectivity.
Don't get me wrong, I still use their gear. But I refuse to be drawn into their ridiculous upgrade vortex. This is a prime example of why.
"What is up with Tom Cruise ....".
I could perhaps take your opinions slightly seriously if you did NOT employ that eternally aggravating Millennial speech habit of making virtually every sentence a question by raising the pitch of your voices on the last two or three syllables.
As it is, you just sound like two self-opinionated whiners, which is a shame because the premise that the whole incident was deliberately constructed to make a point is a valid possibility.
