As Zac said 60 seconds and make a director reel. Cut all the audio original from the music videos and use another one that would piece up your reel. People don't care about the songs, they want the look you can give.
Is there anyway you could specify the things you believe you will need help with? That would make it easier for people to come and help you.
I think its a matter to think if the options that make you want the a7s ii will have a great impact on the things you do now. If not, take your time to make some more bucks and then upgrade.
I'm too far away to help. But if you need help at any time feel free to get in touch. :)
Take a look at this shortfilm: https://vimeo.com/94390460
It was shot on a 550D. And I believe Kendy still uses it to this day. You have much recent cameras with much better features. Time to go online and search how to work out with what you have. You'll be surprised.
Watch some reviews on the Panasonic GH4, Sony a6300 and the Panasonic G7. Watch a lot of videos on how people took the most of them and find a sweet spot for what you're trying to achieve depending on the work you mostly do.
I have a 550D and looking forward to move on soon. These are the ones I'm keeping under the radar for now. By the time to upgrade I hope there are more options available. I'd like to stick with Canon but the way things are they are too expensive for what I'd be getting for IMO.
Also, a perk of getting a camera that suits your needs and having it be low priced you can get some glass for or upgrade the sound or lighting kit.
Hope I could help.
