I think that the blurring on pan could be due to the in camera stability. Try turning it off and do the same pan. Also turn off IBIS when using a gimbal.

It's a good point, maybe think about adding your own voice or the voice of a narrator so that there is room for a scripted narrative over the pictures. This could also be the key to creating a 'link' or 'theme' between the various shots.
