Boards Comment – Distribution for student feature films?

Some options you could do is submitting your film to a film festival such as SXSW or Sundance. If you plan to get your film in theaters you could contact some independent theater chains to see if they will screen your folm or submit your film to be a part of AMC Independent and distribute it that way or finally you could release it through a VOD service like Vimeo-On-Demand which would probably be the cheapest option to go. hope I was able to help.

Article Comment – First Video Comparison of the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera's ProRes & 12 Bit RAW

Aside from the moire present in both shots, The 12-Bit Raw blows the 10-Bit Prores out of the water in terms of sharpness, dynamic range, color, and just overall detail, and keep in mind thesr raw images are coming from a sub $1,000 camera. The only downsides to shooting RAW with the BMPCC is that the files are about 3GB/min and is does not have a global shutter mount, but for the price and the performance of this thing I will definitely be picking one up soon.

Boards Comment – about anamorphic lens !

I have always wanted to shoot with anamorphic adapters, but most of them are above my budget. Though I have been looking into the AnamorphX 1.33x adapter as an option.
