I bought this book in the 90s and I worked the whole program. It helped a lot to understand the process of creativity. I learned what I need to do when I'm stuck. The morning pages were a big part of my life for quite some time. I don't know if I would have been able to write the 4 screenplays I wrote without it.
Also I know countless people in the creative community who credit this book for some breakthroughs. One guy I know quit his day job after finishing the program.
This is serious stuff.
The mother of all unmade movies. Indeed.
It's still sitting there in the collective unconscious waiting to be made.
It would have changed the world as we know it.
Great interview. Lot's of info, now I really need to see the film. Scary how long it can take to develop a film, even if you have a good last name...
Fundamental 0: Screenplay.
Mile Flanagan is one of my heros.
It pretty much depends on who writes the code for this thing.
