Thanks! I use a 360 Garmin for water sports and there is no way to hide anything! Even the tripod must be very thin. Now I may get into a serious production doc, not drama, and seems the crew and lighting fixtures are a headache!
I have a question; I guess the crew and Director that are seen in the shooting are during rehearsals? And in the real shooting they just hide? Otherwise they have to use a lot of compositing¿?
2001 is probably the only movie that places the audience in space. I mean realistic space. And that has been unsurpassed. Space is huge and things don’t go fast.No Director has learned that lesson yet. Amazing!
Interesting! I have a question, I’m astrophotographer and when I see trough a telescope eyepiece into dark sky, I think I see “grain”. Besides, your eyes change a lot in the night after half hour with no white light. You see the structure of the Milky Way in the sky. And after a while, some nebulae trough telescope.
Easy; a Producer with Scissors! Too many scenes in the first hour that add nothing to the story. And they feel disconnected. Big mistake because it took my interest away. Perhaps later is better¿? Besides, the original is too good so you soon feel is not up to that. The original has a live swirling futuristic amazing world full of people with lights moving all the time, atmosphere, smoke, vehicles, costumes, biciles, music, sound, etc. You can’t take your eyes a second out of the screen. Even apparently unimportant scenes are awesome! I recall the scene Deckard picks up a serpent scale from a bathtub. The lighthing is fuking amazing!! The elevator of Deckard apartment, the door, his kitchen, etc, etc. Such a huge level of detail! This one I would say is empty. And I’m sorry about it.
May be the problem is not the Director but to extend to infinity a story that has been told already. The script was boring and repetitive villain vs heroes reborn. Rogue One had an interesting take into expanding secondary characters. It looked like a classic western with loosers. Less divine and more common people. It worked much better!
